It's been almost one month since GCC's colapse. The aftermath?

    Doing real work.
If you drop by the TWCC section you'll see I am still doing datamining for the community.
Mostly TWCC and PAD these days. IMO Gungho will be more successful in the west than Sega ever will be.
Oh I still have a Project Mirai DX to tap through whenever 3DS units go on sale. It's my only 3DS and console game and it's not exactly worth it to keep a machine just for one game...

You said Gung ho and this came to mind:

Now seriously, I hate gungho, they're available in my country, only 2 games but none are PAD.

I probabbly should call him Sulstan now

Tried Rune Story too, only got one 4*, will wait for GBF english language release.

I thought about GBF too but I realized since the English implementation is not a separate server, were gonna be so behind its not even funny. Lemme know how it goes (y)

What i'm seeing after gcc's shutdown, my gameplay in jpcc also dropped tremendously, i don't even care about wasted ap. (n) Login, receive rewards, send units to exploration.

Meanwhile now got many games to try. Slowly growing with war pirates (jp), gbf, and maybe digimon linkz and 7 knights later.

Not in the mood for any english/global version games (since being heartbroken with recent gcc and global war pirates shutdown), gonna brace meself with google translate for now :rofl:

Or you are just turning your back on Sega, which is just as understandable.

    Let's see...
I loved Laserdisc, DVD killed it. (Or hollywood did?)
I loved OS/2, Microsoft killed it.
I liked HD-DVD, Blu-Ray killed it. (Or hollywood did?)
I loved GCC, now I don't know what but something killed it.
Is there a pattern or what?
... that I'm always making the wrong bet?

Yeah.. better go with that :p labelling it as whole just because some tiny fraction that did bad is unfair. Pardon my ignorance :D

Edit: forgot to mention another game i played, senran kagura new wave. Browser-based. Need to use agent switcher if you're going with pc. Not that much fun, unless you wouldn't mind seeing boobs.. boobs everywhere

Hm I've been having no life and living at the campus library trying to be productive and all. Didn't try to pick up a new game or migrate to a different server. I don't think I can get into mobile gaming (never gamed in general either). Don't really hold anything against GUMI or Sega. It's very easy for me to let go.

Sounds like a genious move by Sega.

1.-Shut down the game before setting up the official pre-register.
    2.-Still pay for servers.
    3.-Hurr durrr.
    4.-??????
    5.-Deficit!

Instead of taking in $ega's bullshit, just keep demanding chargebacks until they go bankrupt or something.

I still manage the forum after the apocalypse, but I'm also playing Warframe, FGO, MA, Granblue and a few other things here and there on top of my own self-studies.

Unlike others who may have sworn off certain games and genres as a result of this incident, I still remain quite hopeful and optimistic about the whole concept.

I really love playing War Pirates (Sen no Kaizoku) and have moved on to the JP version. I spend the most time on it, among a few others. They just had an amazing collaboration with many free and awesome collab-only characters.

I think the reason I love it so much is mainly the Duels (PvP) and Big Sea Battle (PvP - Best of 3 Rounds). The complaints I had about the stupid AI in the GCC Colosseum (particularly the useless defense team) are almost all addressed here. I enjoy trying out different fleet formation strategy to squeeze out some defense wins. It is really satisfying (for me) to be able to defeat higher-powered teams through good team synergy.

I migrated to CCJP when the announcment came out which was pretty close to the Rowendia event. I dunno, it felt like a calling or something since I MLB'd Rowendia, pulled both Lephret v2 and Juliana v2 and bunch of others barely 2 weeks in. And it's funny because my old GCC knight team had those 3.
I still miss Deed though. First MLB sure has a connection.
As for Sega, Gumi and online mobile games? My wallet's sealed pretty damn tight.
